anybody else get the new paint it black ep? i've listened to it almost everyday since getting it about a month ago. bummed they didn't play the fest in gainesville this year.
also, can't remember who it was that gave me the link to the lewd acts album, but they turned me on to youareallthesame.blogspot.com pretty solid blog of just album/ep/demo downloads.

blacklisted bore the shit out of me. I saw them live once too and it was garbage. The singer kept going on these long rants about how he's a schizo, talking about his mental problems for extended periods of time between songs and how hardcore gave him the power to help overcome them. Then they'd play some chuggy bullshit and all the bros in jerseys and terror shirts went off.

If you're into seriously blown out, filthy, scuzzy noise rock and aren't already listening to Billy Bao, get into it. both of their LPs are on my mediafire. Its one of those bands that most of you who aren't into noise rock would probably listen to and ask me why the fuck i just recommended it to you. But if this sort of shit is up your alley, you'll enjoy both records. I like Dialectics of Shit more than May 08, though it appears 5 people have grabbed may 08 and no one has grabbed dialectics. No idea if the traffic was from here though. Dialectics has a fair bit more actual, distinguishable guitar parts. May 08 is a lot more just straight up monotonous noise. Also, don't worry that it sounds like Dialectics is skipping/fucked up in parts, thats intended
Added a couple records to the Japanese folder as well as some powerviolence to the mix in the main folder via hatred surge, iron long (one of the iron lung records is just labeled "no sex"), and SFN who i've had up there for awhile. I think i uploaded some other shit earlier this week too. You can find it for yourselves.

I also just downloaded a collaboration of Drunkdriver and Mattin (Billy Bao), and it might well be the most heinously noisy thing i've ever heard. Take that how you will. Its fucking disgusting, dark and brutal. Basically, crank up the noise level on drunkdriver by 100, add in a whole shit ton of other extra noises, make it a bit more bleak, and then add some more noise. I'm not really sure how else to describe it, so i'll let this review do it:
"Throughout late last year and early into this one, Brooklyn’s Drunkdriver had temporarily shacked up with conceptual musician Mattin (responsible for those Billy Bao records), who had manipulated the band somewhat in their work together. I’ve never seen their shows be more violent or full of darkness as when Mattin joined them, be it smearing his blood on audience members, or watching Berdan separate all the muscles from his shoulder to chest from jumping up on a PA column. The rock approach to Kristy Greene’s guitar playing had been subsumed by uglified black waves of churn and it felt like the ground was going to open up under them. The bad vibes are more cleanly merged on A List of Profound Insecurities, a 20-minute exploration which finds the band more locked in than ever, and skirting around volume shifts, laptop noise explosion, and guitar piercing through it. There is a little more method here than may need to be, but it’s so goddamn bleak and nihilistic, loaded with good parts scattered Chrome-like all over the record, that it’s hard to ignore something so disturbed. Not much else out there sounds like these two right now, and if there are, they probably can’t play as well as either of them"
Forewarning: you're gonna fucking hate this unless you really like noise, but i feel like i have to throw it out here to make one of you poor bastards question my mental state.
Edit: oh, holy shit starting at 5:20 on the B side. Christ. this is making my brain hurt, but i have to keep listening. I can't really even fathom this being played live and how fucking loud and insane it must be. I'm pretty sure there is a fucking lawnmower in the background for half this song.

I can't stop listening to Billy Bao - Dialectics of Shit. So fucking good. I can't wait for vinyl copies of that and the Drunkdriver/Mattin collab to show up at my place. Also, i need this shirt:
A couple new posts. Still mostly shit that was already on my mediafire, but some new uploads as well. Get into it. I have a ton of shit to rip once i'm not sick as a dog and have some motivation, so there should be a mass amount of records that aren't on my mediafire going up in the next few weeks hopefully.
