Englishtown Raceway / “Super Trooper Shootout ”

All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy,
so I finally managed to steal a little personal time to just bone out and enjoy one of my favorite past times,
playing with cars and driving fast…

Last weekend we rounded up some of the BK, Bronx and Queens crew and headed out to the Mopar Nationals @ Englishtown Dragway in NJ,
bringing not only our race cars, but a few of the police cars that both Lee and I have been collecting and driving for years.
By the end of the day, it turned out that a total of 6 police cars were there,
so we persuaded the track to actually sanction a “Super Trooper Shoot Out”, setting it up with an announcer, trophies and all….

My man CR took over our Gran Fury for the first round of eliminations and cut a good light to move on,
then I ran Lee in the next round and got the win when he went too fast and broke out of his dial in time…

CR then took over again and went on all the way to the final eliminations,
actually winning a bad ass trophy, plaque and sticker for making it to the finals.

I forgot if it was Englishtown or Long Island Speedway that had the radio commercials started off… “SUNNNNNDAAAAYY!” lol
