ABOUT 12ozPROPHET

Founded in 1993, 12ozProphet had the goal of raising the bar for the graffiti world and integrating its distinctiveness into the wider world of street culture and design. Though there were graffiti magazines before it, 12ozProphet presented the mayhem with an elegance and attention to detail never before seen, packaging top-notch graffiti, innovative design, exceptional printing, and intelligent, thought provoking text. After 12ozProphet, graffiti magazines suddenly had to appeal to a wider world of culture whose interest it had piqued. Graffiti was all of a sudden relevant.

The current generation of urban arbiters of cool grew up on 12ozProphet Magazine, and younger generations enter into the fold. After the demise of the printed magazine, 12ozProphet's focus was shifted towards cultivating an online community by way of the official website. As a way to house this community and create a responsive and built-in audience, in 1999 12ozProphet launched The Writers’ Forum, an online hub with an enormous reach and scope. Many years later, 12ozProphet's presence online has grown beyond just graffiti-related topics to encompass the entire gammut of relevant styles and trends in youth culture, while traffic to the site continues to grow exponentially into millions of page views per month.

ADVERTISING GUIDELINES

- All ad units must launch a new browser window when clicked on.
- Ads do not have a "looping" limit.
- Ads are served via Javascript Ad calls (no iframes).
- No expanding or floating ad units.
- Audio in advertisements is not allowed.
- Obtrusive or derogatory content that in any way undermines the integrity and respect of 12ozProphet will be rejected.
- All rich media ads must have an alternate .GIF or .JPG version of creative for users incapable of viewing Flash content.
- No Public Service Ads (PSA) are allowed.
- Ads must have a linking URL that resolves to an active page. We will not take responsability for, nor credit, any ads with dead links.
- 12ozProphet reserves the right to terminate a campaign at any indication that it is not being properly served.

ADVERTISING CREATIVE POLICY

- 12ozProphet has final approval for all ads with respect to editorial/creative content.
- 12ozProphet reserves the right to remove an advertisement from its web site at any time for any reason.
- Changes to existing campaigns must be received at least 3 business days prior to the change and may be subject to relisting fees.

RICH MEDIA AD SPECIFICATIONS

- Flash files are allowed a maximum frame rate of 31 fps.
- All Flash files must be submitted as a .SWF file with an accompanying .GIF or .JPG file for users incapable of viewing Flash.
- A click thru URL and Default image must also be supplied for each .SWF ad unit.
- Maximum file size is 100k for Banner Ads, and 50k for Column Ads.

GRAPHIC AD SPECIFICATIONS

- Available file formats for Graphic Ads are .JPG, .GIF, or .PNG files.
- Animated gifs are allowed, however we strongly encouarage restraint from annoying flashing or similarly obnoxious techniques.
- Maximum file size is 50k for Banner Ads, and 25k for Column Ads.

TEXT AD SPECIFICATIONS

- Scripting, code, or markup within text ads is not allowed.
- Text Ads are comprised of a company name, ad text, and domain name.
- The ad text in all text ads are limited to 90 characters max including all spaces and punctuation.

DELIVERY DEADLINES

- Within three business days for standard ad units.
- Within ten business days for rich media ad units.
