New York, New York

Granted, I’m not crazy about the design myself, but just the fact that Peter Vallone is putting his mug on tv and rallying for a boycott of Arizona Ice Tea just because of the graffiti-inspired aesthetic on these drinks is enough to make me want to make Arizona’s ‘All City’ beverages truly all city. (Someone at Arizona needs to reach out to 12oz cause I bet we could really make that happen) I mean seriously… with the outrageous national deficit, crumbling dollar, collapsing housing and stock market, looming recession, and the big apple rotting from the inside out, do we really need politicians parading around on television telling us what drinks we should or shouldn’t be buying?

Next time you walk by your neighborhood bodega, make sure and pick up a can or three of Arizona, as well as tell the dude behind the counter that these cans are the hot shit and all the kids in high school are collecting them and selling them on eBay for big bucks. Seriously… nothing will be more satisfying then turning this around and pushing the sale of these beverages through the roof. Also be sure and check out Arizona’s website and drop their (JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address) ((JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address) and (JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address)) to tell them how much you love their drinks and that you’ll be picking up a case of ‘All City’ after cashing your next paycheck.

And on the real… with presidential elections in full swing, don’t forget to get informed, get involved and vote.

It doesnt even taste that good.
And its also just another corporate attempt to make money off of a culture that was once regaurded as underground.

i like how “The new drink from AriZona comes in a ‘limited edition’ aluminum can adorned in typical mainstream graffiti fashion” is lost in the outcry

If a politician who represents human beings is complaining about a drink’s name wouldn’t COKE be the first and main concern. Now don’t get the wrong impression,I don’t think COKE should change their name.I think that would be rediculous.I’m just saying that a politician should represent his or her constituents, and the DRUG that COKE was named after has hurt the communities he represents. Why doesn’t the press ask him which drink’s name he thinks has hurt his community most? Then we can go to food names,or just skip it and go directly to band and movie names.
PLEASE SOMEONE TELL ME HOW COKE IS MORE POLLITICALLY CORRECT THAN ALL CITY !!!

Yeahhhh! Let’s buy shit tons of these drinks and we’ll show the powers that be what we really think. We’re free to consume whatever product presents our co-opted culture back to us in the most desirable way possible! Seriously, you think that this isn’t something that Arizona ian’t fucking hyped on? It’s just like the skeeze at american apparel seeing the theft as his clothes a way of giving his brand “street cred.” No this wasn’t planned, but it’s certainly auspicious to sell a product that has a stolen culture of illegality against the wishes of the stereotypical reactionary power figure.

Rack your arizona, paint on vallone’s house, convince the kids at your bodega to help you do your fills. Fuck that.
