Haze - Mountain Dew Green Label

Last night club Twelve 21 hosted the unveiling and celebration of the HAZE Mountain Dew Green label bottle design.
Congrats to Haze. The turn out was great. Open bar, DJ Just Blaze and a surprise performance by EPMD, who performed in
front of a projection of the original EPMD logo design - also designed by Haze.

Dondi sneaker

I was pleasantly surprised when the new Dondi White Converse sneakers arrived in the mail for me last week.
All the art for the shoe comes from the late Style Master General’s old sketch books and journals. The detail is
impressive. I was lucky enough to get a pair of the black pro-leather joints.
The Dondi shoe is the first in Converse’s 1HUND(RED) artists program. 10% of all Converse PRODUCT(RED)
sales will go to The Global Fund to help Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria (Geneva, Switzerland).

Saturday night sports

2/17/08 - Last night Kelly Pavlik beat Jermain Taylor for the 2nd time in just under 5 month scoring a unanimous
decision over Taylor at the end of 12 rounds.

The Orlando Magic’s Dwight “Superman” Howard took the 2008 slam dunk contest.

The Toronto Raptors (forward) Jason Kapono shot the lights out - winning this years
3-point shooting competition with a score of 25 points (20-for-25). Kapono ties a
22-year old record set by former Chicago Bull sharp shooter Craig Hodges back in 1986.

Last but not least in Elite XC: Street Certified main event - Back yard internet heavy weight champion Kimbo Slice
knocked out (43 year old) Tank Abbott 43 seconds into the first round.
