The Dondi White estate in conjunction with The Baurmann Gallery recently released a special charity edition print
in honor of the late Style Master General. Released October 2nd 2008 on the 10 year anniversary of Dondi’s passing.
The commemorative edition silk screen print is entitled “Happy Birthday Dad”, a previously unseen black-book sketch
from Dondi’s book. The print is set for a limited run of 129 prints and retail for $129.00 + shipping. Proceeds will benefit
“Gods Love We Deliver” the charity that helped Dondi tremendously in his final years.
The print is a 11”x14” 2 color silkscreen on BFK Rives paper with the numbering done by CRIME79. Folders with
the titles of the print will be included as well. The edition is entitled “Happy Birthday Dad” and is a previously unseen
black-book sketch. Printed by Nenad at NEBO printing, who is the master printer who printed the “D5” and “Rain Proof
Dance” Dondi White/Baurmann Gallery estate editions, also responsible for prints by CRASH and KAWS among others.
All proceeds will be donated to “Gods Love We Deliver” in the name and remembrance of Dondi White.

I never knew Dondi, but met him a few time’s.
I was a real big fan of his work & he was like a big deal to me -
Have you ever gone into the wood’s expecting to see an exotic bird or a white rabbit or something?
that’s wat Dondi meant to me ,every time i was in Greenwich Village or West Broadway
ther was always’ that element that dondi would surface
& he did, but now that element iz gone ....,.
