Making its debut in January 2008 is the Dondi White edition Converse sneaker.
The shoe selected to honor the late style master general is the Converse All Star Pro Model also known as the DR.J, the same sneaker Dondi wore when they were originally released in 1976.The commemorative sneaker contains a variety of art, illustrations signatures and icons straight out of Dondi’s black books.
I believe there will be a limited run of the black sneakers first and then the white ones will be released. The white shoe will be commercially available at most retail venues while the black edition is said to be super limited.
