Last night Anderson “The Spider” Silva dominated Rich Franklin for the second time in 12 months. Silva successfully defending his UFC middleweight title by way of 2nd second round knock out.
According to many Franklin is still considered a legitimate top contender in his weight class often ranking somewhere between 4-7. After witnessing the fight clinic put on Silva I’m convinced there isn’t a fighter in all of the UFC that will be able to take his title any time soon.

This dude’s stand up is SO NASTY. It’s one thing to fight for a living but it’s another to put yourself on the line and entertain the way this dude does. The way he throws elbows from Ill angles, as well as his kicks and knees, it’s CRAZY inspiring to watch. Definitely top of his game right now. Possibly one of the best pound for pound MMA fighters in the game right now.
