This is a test burn for one of the pieces I’m showing at the WunderKammer show. I’m indebted to Othelo and Saved Tattoo for the etching, which came out really, really crispy. I couldn’t be happier. The formerly remarkable Riviera Gallery in Williamsburg, Brooklyn has apparently moved on to greener pastures and is now a real estate office. I’d heard rumors to this effect for a while, but refused to believe it until I got an email a few minutes ago. Sad but true. Only mitigating factor is that there might be cookies there for prospective home owners. Come by and shop Riviera Real Estate quick before the bubble bursts.

On a ride out to the Rockaways this weekend I saw this girl and her “girls just wanna have fund$” tee. I managed to convince both her and her boyfriend that it would be cool if I took her picture, seeing as how some of my friends call me Danny Funds, and they’re sure to get a big kick out of this. She said she was waiting for the ice cream truck and that her name was Lo-Lo. I have to assume it’s short for Lolita.
