Anyone who knows me, has heard me rant for the past couple
weeks about how shitty the new pepsi logo is. I ran across this photo
today and it made decide to use the internet for its truest purpose, bitching.
Everywhere around my city are huge bill boards of the new pepsi logo which
looks to me like some cross between Pepsi, Obama and and a sailing company.
It is supposed to reminiscent of smiles but It’s just ugly.
and if you think normal logo is oddly proportioned check out the pepsi max
on the other hand I’m kinda into the new type treatment
especially how the horizontal in the “e” references the old pepsi logo
it may quickly look dated cause all lower case was was cool,
about 5-6 years ago. but at least its clean and simple.
so to recap keep typeface and clean can design drop ugly logo
