PHISH TO PLAY THREE CONCERTS 10.01.08

Phish returns to the stage for three concerts at the Hampton Coliseum in Hampton, Virginia on March 6, 7 and 8, 2009.
A limited number of tickets are available directly through Phish Tickets’ online ticketing system at http://phish.portals.musictoday.com/ . The ticketing request period is currently underway and will end on Wednesday, October 8th at 11:59AM EST.
Tickets go on sale to the public on Saturday, October 18th at 10 AM EST and may be purchased online at http://ticketmaster.com or by phone at 757.671.8100, 757.872.8100 or 804.262.8100. Tickets will not be available at the venue box office and there is a two-ticket limit per show.
The band intends to announce additional touring in 2009 early next year.

Hampton Coliseum is one of my favorite places to see these guys. Which venue they’re playing has a lot to do with the quality of the performance, and I can tell right away that these shows are going to be well worth the time off from work and real life responsibilities that have crept into my life within the past 5 years since the last time i saw them (their last shows) on August 14 and 15 2004. I spent a great deal of time, energy and brain cells touring with these dudes for years on end with breaks in between. It’s going to be interesting to feel like one of the older heads in the parking lot coolin’ back while watching the kids (that I once was) run around hustling and doing their tour thing. It’s going to be nice to not be the one risking the arrest for distribution, anymore. Be safe out there, kids! I’ll still be catchin silver pen tags on the port-a-johns, but that’s about as far as my illegal activities will be going, save for the ingestion of a few substances. =)

I was also lucky enough to get all 3 nights in the lotto! Don’t mean to rub it in your guys faces, but hey if you’re not lucky enough to grab hold of 2 tickets after they go on sale tomorrow, get them here or from tiQits.com

This issue needs to be addressed not only for phish but all events including sports <the Tickets will not be available at the venue box office and there is a two-ticket limit per show.>all ticket’s are goin to insider’s and ther familes and most of all the ticket that are offered online are sucked up with people who have special computer program, the phones are always jammed!! the only to get ticket is threw these online ticket broker’s OR to do an old fashison camp out infront of the front office -so why ARE THEY NOT OFFERING BOX OFFICE SALES, WHEN IT’S THE ONLY FAIR WAY A REAL PHAN CAN GET A TICKET ????????????????????
