Really? Is it just my old ears, or is hip-hop and R&B really, actually lacking some essential ingedients these days? Every new song on the radio sounds like a flat, hollow ring tone to me. When I’m not getting all folk-y and putting pot moustache’s on James Taylor’s upper-lip, Gangstarr gets the job done. Daily Operation (1992) is definitely in my all-time top 5 of any hip-hop albums. No disrespect to the kids and what they have going, every generation has their own sound; but for me, that Guru and Premier combo is simply timeless. Here you go, Take Two and Pass…
