Feels good to break out the designers.

When I was younger I went to a few comic conventions, circa 1979-1981. At one of these conventions held in the basement of the old Taft hotel, ( which either has been renamed or does not exist anymore) I met Darth Vader and got his autograph. I hung it on the wall next to my bed and I can’t front for years I truly believed that I legitimately had his real signature… On another note whoever did sign this had some nasty ass penmanship.

This is a drawing I did right around the time I first started writing in the summer of 81.  I wasn’t totally hip to what 666 meant yet..I was 12.

I recently archived 20 plus years of stickers, here’s a small sample…more in the future.

Came across these while sorting yesterday…A time before diamonds and downloads.

When looking for collage materials I often come across some odd things and hidden gems.  This (used), Valentine’s day card from 1978 being one of them…fuckin’ classic and well put. 

Note: if you need a last minute Valentine’s day card print this one up, buff out Lefty’s name and give it to your lady on Saturday, don’t forget.

Living Proof Magazine out of Philly…Not sure where you can pick it up it in NY but definitely worth checking out.
