SHAME ON YOU GAP!!!!

I have been working in the garment industry for 6 years and I know there is no company that are 100% clean. The worst is when your name is GAP and you do campaign to help childrens with AIDS, poor people, homeless, etc… and that you actually use 10 years old children from India that are treated like animals to sew your shit for western countries kids…

Please read below…

Police target child labor in wake of Gap report Indian authorities find children as young as 10 living and working in squalor after a report in the British press found child labor in a Gap factory.

NEW DELHI (AP)—With Gap Inc. under fire for selling clothes made by children in India, activists and police raided a sweatshop in New Delhi where 14 boys were embroidering women’s garments Monday, illustrating the widespread problem of child labor in the South Asian country. The children were as young as 10, came from a poor farming district on the other side of the country, and said they had never been given promised wages for working up to 15 hours a day embroidering sequins onto the flowing saris worn by Indian women. The working and living conditions in the sweatshop just blocks from where the Gap clothes were being made were grim - the boys were packed into a filthy room, sleeping on the same floor where they sewed all day. “I don’t want my money anymore. Now I want to go home,” said a thin 15-year-old boy who gave his name only as Hatiquallah.

SORRY, BUT MY COUNTRY OF BIRTH IS FULL OF RACIST…

The 21st of October 2007 was a major election in my country of birth; Switzerland. The people had to vote to renew the Parliament. The result made me so angry and sad. In deed the Swiss people that once created the Red Cross, invented contemporary graphic design and used to tolerate an amazing mix of different culture and races choose to become a shame for the rest of the world. The SVP ( basically a racist populist party) won big time. Their campaign was based on fear of immigrants, youth violence and perdition of Swiss traditions. As if that was not enough, their campaign’s poster reminded me some Nazi shit from the 1940’s ... 3 white sheep sitting on the Swiss flag kickin’ out a black sheep… WHAT THE FUCK!!!!!!  Coming from the French part of the country, I was hoping my fellow Swiss-French would have vote against those nasty people.... Not even!!!!! SHAME ON YOU!!!!!!! Until people wake the fuck up in Switzerland and realize how bad this move was, I am going to boycott my country of birth and so should you.

“Sicherheit Schaffen” basically means Bring the security back.

More from the Swiss AFP:
GENEVA (AFP) — Switzerland’s far-right Swiss People’s Party (SVP) shrugged off charges of racism to register the best election showing of any single party in nearly a century, preliminary results showed Monday.Traditional forces on the Swiss political landscape, the Socialists suffered what the Tages Anzeiger newspaper labelled a “historic thrashing,” while the business-friendly Radicals crumbled and the Greens surged to an influential position in parliament after Sunday’s vote. The SVP, already the country’s largest party, won 29 percent of the vote and 62 seats in the 200 seat lower house, the National Council, gaining seven seats over 2003, according to the Swiss statistical office. “It’s the strongest score of any party” since 1919, political scientist Hans Hirter told AFP.

BROOKLYN’S REAL STREET ART

Today I spent about 6 hours walking around different neighborhoods in Brooklyn. I started in East Williamsburg and ended up at the Fulton Mall Downtown Brooklyn. This “hiking” made me realize how complex, mixed and full of memorabilia is the Kings County. I took photos wherever I could or wherever I was not screamed at. This is the store front series. More will come soon. This selection of photos where taken in East Williamsburg, Bushwick, Bed-stuy, Crown Eights, Flatbush and Fort Green.
