I found this ODB collage from 1995 in my art school portfolio. I started to mess again with this technique for an art show and I remembered how dope it was to just work with an old fax machine, a black and white copier, Exacto ,Tip-Ex and some 3M tapes… Back then they was 3 shit computers for 120 students… No photoshop, illustrator, just our brain and hands to render. Fun times…

FRIDAY JAM: FRENCH HARDCORE EDITION
113 is one of the most hardcore French hip hop act.... This video was censored on french TV… Homemade style and filmed in their housing project in Vitry (in the outskirt of Paris)… The beat reminds me a Public Enemy bomb squad production. This song is called “Trop Puissant” which means “Too Powerful”.

Here is some amazing ads from the NY mass transportation from the 40’s to the 60’s… It used to be called The Subway Sun. Way more creative and nicer than all the communication (It’s now called “Subway talk” ) that you see in the cars nowadays…

CIA Handbook on Overthrowing Nicaraguan (Sandinista) Government
The CIA handbook was implemented against the Sandinistas in Nicaragua in the 80’s. One CIA manual used by anti-Sandinista groups instructed them to determine “the needs and frustration of the target groups” and to channel them into “generalized anti-government hostility.” The goal was to make the population identify the current government as “the cause of their frustration,” according to the manual, and believe that these frustrations could only be gotten rid of with the elimination of that government. Another great example of how Washington crafts and exports what they hope will never happen to them… A good uprising.

With the beautiful weather coming back in town, I had to rock this morning my AF1 Also Know as... . Mister Raven gave each of the magazine’s contributor a pair… You talking about 45 pairs made… I had the dilemma of selling them a make $2000 on ebay for my kids college fund but after I spilled a Rhum and Coke on it, they had to live the concrete life.... No regret…

My friend Zuek is a really talented dude from Italy. Like many other Europeans before us, he came here to live the New York dream. We have respect for each other because we have to work 50 times harder to find a place in the local scene and own respect from our peers. Zuek is a great photographer with a big heart and killing Italian accent… We worked with him on some Zoo York stuff and he is been shooting for the homeys at 5 Boro as well. Images speaks louder than words! Here is a few flicks to enjoy before you go on his website to see more… Zuek’s website Yep Alessandro, you made it!
