I found this ODB collage from 1995 in my art school portfolio. I started to mess again with this technique for an art show and I remembered how dope it was to just work with an old fax machine, a black and white copier, Exacto ,Tip-Ex and some 3M tapes… Back then they was 3 shit computers for 120 students… No photoshop, illustrator, just our brain and hands to render. Fun times…

yeh, well, using your brain and hands to create are pretty much a staple for any artist. that’s nothing new. anyone who relies on technology has a one-trick portfolio. nothing’s changed in art school. tools are only a fourth of your education…
