6 years ago my friend and mentor Alf passed away. I met Alf when I was 12. He was the first dude in Geneva designing clothing and was an amazing skateboarder. He showed a whole crew of friends what street wear was about before anybody in Switzerland. He was a self educated tailor and started his first clothing line at 15 years old. He was stealing blankets from the red cross and flipping them into stylish winter coats for us. Alf gave me the passion and love for the clothing and skateboard culture and was an amazing human being. Before his tragic death Alf was designing a new clothing line named “YTIR” aka Your tailor is rich. He was selling it at selfridge, collette, etc… The concept was to give back most of the profit to the workers in the factory (the actual tailors). A true gentleman. Alf, I will never forget you. I will always celebrate you life and be thankful for guiding me towards what became my passion and profession today. We love you!!! Rest in Peace brother. Big kiss to his daughter Uma as well as our crew from back in the days Bod,Stan,Kevin,Kangol, Nico, Oliver.
