My good friend Chris Isenberg who is one of the person responsible for my obsession with sport graphic and sport in general released today an amazing project. Today is the 35th of Ali rumble in the jungle. To celebrate the event, Muhammad Ali Enterprises LLC (MAE) has commissioned NO MAS to create “Rumblevison”, a series of three original animated short films. To explore the legendary fight between Muhammad Ali and George Foreman and the iconic scene in Zaire, Chris tapped three fine artists with distinct styles: watercolorist David Rathman, oil painter Jerome Lagarrigue and pen and ink man James Blagden. In conjunction with a viral release, No Mas will also retail the original artwork, editioned prints and t-shirts based on key frames, along with its current collection of licensed reproductions of t-shirts worn by Muhammad Ali during his storied career. Great job brother!!!! More here.
