Brooklyn, New York

This morning I had a chance to hang out Uptown with one of my biggest inspiration! I got coffee at Martha Cooper’s studio to talk about books, New York city, kids, graffiti and Baltimore. The reason we hook up is that I have this Dondi print available at Pictures on the Walls and I wanted to give her the first artist proof. It was really fun to spend time with her and go trough her collection of toys, objects, postcards and her gazillions photos. She told me that this Dondi photo is still one of her favorite and that she took it around 5-6 am after an entire night spent in the yard with the style master. Marthy, thanks again for the good time!
