I was cleaning up and reorganizing my bookshelf when I bumped into few Teen Angels magazine. I found those while on a research trip on the West Coast. Me and Mene hit a flea market in San Bernardino when we saw a Chicano with some crazy Low-rider paintings and memorabilia. The dude was fresh out of jail and was trying to make some paper to start a new and clean life. He recommended that we buy some Teen Angels Magazines if we liked the low-rider culture. We bought 4-5 of them without really looking inside and more to support the homey. While in our hotel, we started to dig inside to find some crazy disturbing pictures (baby trowing gang signs, gang bangin’ girls, mad weapons pictures, etc...) as well as some sick low-rider artworks, typographic pages and touching poems from dude lock down for life. We felt weird like when you hold something you know you should not own. Teen Angels will be 30 years old next year.
These flicks had no pixel in the magazine…
