When I lived on Avenue A and7th st. from 93 to 2000, I had a dope view of all the great and crazies that passed by in the daily circus and this cat Clayton patterson was one of them. i noticed him mostly cause of his fly caps with dope embroidered skulls n bones. Besides being the mad hatter and down with many in the hood, I didnt really know his deal, figured he was an artist and so it is. He was documenting the certain heads from the block, the long block of Avenue a to Essex. Checkd his opening on Monday at http://www.ktfgallery.com/
Here’s some flix from the opening and after joint.
