Style Masters Exhibition at NYU
Style Masters is a visual art exhibit celebrating some of the pioneering artists that helped shape the worldwide public art phenomenon know as graffiti. Curated by Alan Ket and Joshua Ivory, Style Masters focuses on the works of artists from the 70s to the early 80s who influenced and changed the world of graffiti and popular culture. The works exhibited are replicas of original pieces that ran on the NYC subway when trains provided the only canvasses to which the artists had access. Artists include: RIFF 170, PART ONE, CHAIN 3, FUZZ ONE, NOC 167, T-KID 170, PESO 131, TACK, and BUTCH 2.
