The first “Garage Days Revisited” Ep is a personal favorite. I posted this later edition because I come off. Shameless.
Here’s the first one, a true classic. Metallica covers of old punk songs. 1987.

Cey City has been a creative force in the world of hip hop for a long time now, both as a writer and designer. He’s designed several classic albums from the Beastie Boys to Biggie’s first album.

El Castillo De Jagua is an OG Dominican spot in the Les, NYC. The LES has changed so much (like most of NYC) in the past few years, I don’t know if they own the building or what, but El Castillo has held it down. Some people might say, “Yo, these spots are all the same.” Not true. While many do share a common menu, El Castillo is one of the best Dominican rice and beans type spots in the city. Pollo al Horno, Pernil, Guisado, Chuletas. Don’t forget to get a Presidente!
Newjacks, go to “The Hat”, if you’re up on the real deal, go to El Castillo. On weekends the place is packed with families, adding to it’s authenticity and atmosphere.
Not the best photo, and it does lack in decor, but it delivers good, cheap food.
113 Rivington St @ Essex, next to the hotel.

New book by Daniel Mason on package design and materials.
Daniel did the production for the Krink Queens box set back in 2002. He did an excellent job and turned it around quickly.
Box sets are hand made. Cloth bound boards, foil stamp logo, foam insert, and magnetic closure. Limited to 100 pieces.
The book has many other interesting projects he’s worked on.
