Very rarely do I go out to clubs anymore. I’m more of a linger after dinner with friends or go to a specific event or opening.
A lot of clubs in NYC are rammed up with bridge and tunnel people or are on some snooty bottle service steez, everyone acting like they got money, and for some reason, clubs are now in “districts” full of bars or clubs, so the whole area is rammed up with “nightlife”.
I went out the other night to this spot that is really fun, Q-tip spinning great music, no pretentious crap, and in a great location, no other clubs or bars next door or down the street.
It was cool to see Q-tip out amongst the people, representing the old fashioned way, good music, nice mixed crowd, good times.
Tip and Vashtie, party people in the place to be.
