Alidoro. Best Sandwiches in the city.
Alidoro
Best sandwiches in Nyc, hands down. If you live in NYC, and haven’t heard, or you’re visiting and want the real deal, Alidoro is the spot.
My pick for the best sandwiches in all of Nyc. Battle anybody.
The dude in the picture is from Italy, he uses only the best ingredients and knows how to make a sandwich. Not too much meat (very important and a common mistake), always well balanced, nice bread selection, consistently on point.
Only thing is, he simply will not shut up! This guy will talk your ear off and keep you in the spot for 20 min without even making your sandwich! He’ll be talking and not working, just standing there and asking all kinds of stuff, How’s work? where’s your friend? Just rambling. blah, blah, blah.
This is New York City, we like to keep things moving. But if you want the real deal, top notch sandwich you have to grin and bear it.
If Mexicans are behind the counter, you’re good, order and your out. If you see this dude, you’re in for it.
Either way it’s the spot. Might seem pricey, but well worth it. Trust.

The guy can’t help it, Italian genes and shutting up does not mix.
