New York, New York

An American artist who worked mainly with architecture. He split houses in half, cut into and cut out large pieces of buildings. Worked a lot with found objects and made very interesting conceptual sculpture during the 70’s when NYC was really run down; he made use of his surrounding environment to create his work.
He died at a very young age of cancer. There are a few books out on him worth a look.
