DARE on the roof of Da Bakery-South Bronx-NYC
These lines are dedicated to one of the best Graffiti writers ever, whom unfortunately passed away just days ago, at the age of 42.
DARE (TWS), a Swiss pioneer of European Graffiti, was a great friend of ours and will stay in our memories forever. We’ll gratefully remember all these hard moments of our life when he always was there, supporting us, and we will never forget his sensibleness and his continuity of staying on the top, thanks to his constant self improvement.
For years, Dare always visited us, sometimes during the holidays and sometimes for projects we developed together. Thanks to people like Dare, projects like ours exist and graffiti has been able to break through all imaginable social and moral barriers.
Sigi Von Koeding, true representer of Wildstyle, worldwide known as DARE, was one of the most inspiring writers ever. He possessed infinite imagination with letters and great skills with the cans.
You’ll be missed…
Our deepest sympathy and most sincere regards to Sigi’s family and all his closest friends.
