Video- McCain’s Keating 5 Fiasco
Sen. Barack Obama (D-Ill.) on Monday will launch a multimedia campaign to draw attention to the involvement of Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) in the “Keating Five” savings-and-loan scandal of 1989-91, which blemished McCain’s public image and set him on his course as a self-styled reformer.

Style Masters Exhibit/Panel at NYU
I attended the panel and exhibition for the Style Masters presentation that was hosted and organized by Carlos REC” McBride, Allen Ket, Joshua Ivory and NYU at the NYU Skirball Center for the Performing Arts 566 Laguardia Place New York City.
This event was fantastic, it featured the works of Riff170, Butch2, Fuzz1, Part1, Tack FBA, Chain3, T-Kid170 and Noc167. All the paintings were impressive and show the evolution and diversity of the development of Style Writing from several generations. Listening to the artists speak about how they came into the culture was great because they were actually there in its infancy and had major contributions to the art form. It was one of the most impressive line ups in recent memory and a great forum.

Women are Worship Worthy- new site launched
Worship Worthy, the highly popular, street-level culture forecasting web portal, is launching “WW†”, a collection of street-inspired pieces geared towards their loyal audience of women with an appreciation of independent and avant-garde fashion. Available for the Fall 2008 retail season, the collection represents a natural return to founder Jennifer Wannarachue’s own design voice after years of focusing on forecasting and consulting. Creating this new offshoot of the Worship Worthy brand truly helps its audience grasp that the brand is not simply about editorial but the unique marriage of design and market awareness.

911 NYC- Continued Prayers to those who perished and their families as we remember and honor them on this day that has forever changed the way we live.
I have not looked at any of the photos and video I shot on that fateful day since it took place. It still has its residue inside me and I find it difficult to really express the horror and sorrow to this day. I lived a few blocks away from WTC, I was in bed with my girl when I heard the roar of a plane and a second later the impact, I knew instantly what had happened, I dont know why but I did and when I ran up to the roof I was speechless and in tears. What I saw that day and night and when I went into Ground Zero was devastating and humbling.
I grew up in and out of those towers I had friends and family that worked in them or near by, in fact I was to go to the bank across the street that very morning but I was putting off for later.
My emotions aside I knew this would be the most important and memorable day of my life, aside from the birth of our son Leo it still is.
It is important to also honor those who jumped in to help out, those who lived in the trenches pulling out people, parts and small personal items for the identification of the fallen.
We are still at a lost for clarification or resolve and given the direction the US government has since charted I dont see the gaping wound at the site or in our hearts healing up anytime soon. We are forever scarred by the event and its catastrophic aftermath in Iraq.
