Your Best Foot Forward: Scion and Run Athletics Launch Humanitarian Sneaker Design Contest for Soles4Soles

New York, NY, (present date) — Can sneakers save the world?  Scion and Run Athletics have launched a humanitarian shoe design contest, asking designers all over the world to put their best foot forward and create a custom Run Athletics sneaker to help raise donations towards Soles4Souls, a non-profit dedicated to providing essential footwear to those in need around the globe. All entries uploaded to www.runathletics.com/soles4souls will be judged by a panel of legendary urban artists with 300 limited-edition pairs manufactured from the winning design.  The winner will be announced on the website and receive their award at the closing party, where the custom shoes will be given out to donors and others in attendance. Designs from the top ten finalists will be matted and on display at the event for honorable guest Reverend Run of Run DMC to sign. The first contest of its kind, the Scion/Soles4Souls/Run Athletics donation and design campaign is spearheaded by PBM Partners, a convergence media agency helping to develop socially conscious media programs.
