Tim Russert a journalist I greatly admired and anticipated every Sunday morning on Meet The Press passed away at a too young 58. Those who knew and respected him have been in shock and understandably his community is at a terrible loss. He had great integrity, it was something to watch him and believe in the job of respectful and credible news journalism. He was a young giant in the game, following behind such legends as Brokaw, Cronkite and others he was a deeply invested person in the politics of our country. I was so looking forward to his commentary through these elections, there is a side of me that got much more invested in politics through his program. Sundays will never be the same...

He was a smooth/slick journalist. He would have made a dope graff writer. Russert In Peace.
definitely a great loss in journalism. for me, i think the greater loss was who he was as a person. it was his approach to family that i respected so much. from what i’ve read, it was also his respect for others around him that made him such a giant. he always was firm on his show, but still seemed like a guy i’d want to sit down and have drink, and just feed off his knowledge of life and it’s lessons. definitely RIP big Tim.
