Barry McGee Bombs Bowery

Barry McGee with collaborator Amaze n’ crew spent Sunday night tagging the storied wall at Bowery and Houston. They paid homage to hundreds of writers on both coasts by putting up names in each person’s original style (more or less).  I was happy to see tags written in a place where people expected to see fine art. Perhaps this will alert the general public to the beauty of handstyles. There’s no reason why vandalism can’t also be art.
