Chris Stain from Brooklyn and Ad Hoc from Denmark collaborated on an installation of their
work at Ad Hoc Art which opened tonight.. Unfortunately, this will be Ad Hoc’s final show as
the gallery is the latest victim of the economic downturn (aka recession). The exhibit will be
up until September 6th so try to get out to 49 Bogart Street in Bushwick and say a fond
farewell to Alison and Garrison, two of the staunchest street art supporters around.

Both artists adapted an image or two of mine from the late ‘70’s. I’m happy that these photos
from the vanished Lower Eastside of 30 years ago are still relevant today. Below are Chris
(left) and Armsrock with their work paired with my original black and white photos.
