New York, New York

NYC sticker buffs are familiar with FAUST, a prolific practitioner of elegantly
executed handstyles on stickers stuck on nearly every newspaper box in town
for the past ten years.

Last December his supersized tag adorned the facade of the Anonymous
Gallery on Broome Street in Soho for the Piece Process show.

His studio is full of beautiful work on canvas and other surfaces. The colors shift
with the light so were hard to capture on camera.

All great deeds and all great thoughts have a ridiculous beginning. Great
works are often born on a street corner or in a restaurant’s revolving door.

With all due respect to Ms. Cooper I agree with the “elegantly executed handstyles"part but “stuck on nearly every newspaper box in town for the past ten years”  is a stretch.

Although his tags are decent, this guy is more of a gallery artist than a real graffiti writer. Let’s be honest, he doesn’t paint (in the streets.)

This Faust is whack. I want to meet up and battle for the name.

Anyone who thinks faust isnt a real writer is a toy. His styles are crack, and take out most nyc writers by a mile.  Stop hating and go paint
