Several generations of writers showed up at Alphabeta to celebrate the publication of Graffiti Kings,
the long awaited book edited from Jack Stewart’s PH.D dissertation by his wife, Regina. The book
contains 275 previously unpublished photos dating back to 1970, a feast for graf heads. In honor of
the occasion, Blade painted a model subway car with his name on one side and Regina’s on the other.
Sadly Jack didn’t live to see his work in print and acknowledged as an important contribution to the history
of art. A big up to Regina for making his research available to the world for generations to come.
