Sneak Peek Willoughby Windows Project

Brooklyn’s Ad Hoc Art has been working with MetroTech Business Improvement District to fill 12
empty storefronts along Willoughby Street with art. Sadly the stores were vacated to prepare for
the building’s demolition but that was postponed. So until the wrecker arrives, the storefronts with
their original awnings intact, will be used for rotating art installations. The first group of artists was
busy installing work over the weekend and I was able to grab some shots. The official opening is
Friday, July 10 from 12 noon to 7pm with live music, revelry, and an award winning step ensemble.
