In a few days the Havana Biennial will kick off, a month long art showcase featuring different artists. Two artists in particular however, have come together to collaborate on bringing the walls of Cuba to life. JR, the french photographer/street artist has teamed up with painter Jose Parla in creating a beautiful blend of both candid photographs featuring the beautiful calligraphic gestures and textures of Parla. The two are set to present their work, which is part of JR’s “Wrinkles Of The City” series in the upcoming 11th Havana Biennial on May 13th, 2012. The whole show runs from May 11th until June 11th, 2012. Scroll down to get a glimpse of some of their collaborative works.
