This article was posted by nadia 2 years, 9 months, 3 days, 10 hours, 21 minutes ago.

Invoking the painted fighter jets of WWI, the Boneyard project is a modern take on the art that decorated military planes. Taken from a “bone yard” of retired aircraft, thse planes are being given new looks courtesy of modern artists. So far, the artists painting these off the wall canvases are Retna, How and Nosm and Nunca. However, in the future this list will include more names 12ozProphet readers will be familiar with, such as Lee Quinones, Futura and Ron English. Be sure to stay tuned to 12ozProphet for more info, or check out what 12oz blogger Daze had to say about the project.
