The Yok and Sheryo‘s Pipe Dreams opened at Krause Gallery in New York City’s Lower East Side last night, May 16th. Displayed were recent pieces inspired by the Brooklyn duo’s journey to southeast Asia. Finding themselves in Hanoi, The Yok and Sheryo were inspired by the hand painted vases they’d seen in the area which have been produced for centuries. Pipe Dreams is comprised of vases, plates, and works on paper, with a porcelien sculpture on a skateboard titled Lumpy Space Dragon as the centerpiece.

Pipe Dreams runs through June 16th at:
Krause Gallery
149 Orchard St.
New York, NY 10002

The gallery is open Wed-Sun – 12:00 to 6:00pm
