Video: Graffiti BoxMen Project

A new trend is sweeping the streets of Toronto, putting street art exactly where it needs to be; in the street. The Graffiti BoxMen Project is an idea that was formulated to bring about a change in perspective on graffiti, viewing it as art, not vandalism. By painting murals and leaving these ‘BoxMen’ around, the general public can have a greater appreciation for the artistic side of graffiti. The concept of building people out of inanimate objects as street art, is not a new one (see CrateMen), but as long as it spreads the good name of graffiti, I have no objections. Check out the video, then go make your own BoxMan!

its easy to destroy and hate. harder to build and love.
