Last year Lionel from Sixpack asked me to do some tees, back then we were talking back and forth about Sabbath Master of Reality, black tees, and other subjects…
Finally the tees came out and they look great, as always its a pleasure to work with the french brand.

Few weeks ago my friend Raph sent me this link of a radio show about this ongoing beef that has been between Art director George Lois and famous copywriter Julian Koenig , I knew about George Lois work since everybody in the creative industry seems to respect him and admire him with big passion, he is always been a reference when it comes to the great advertising days, and how this guys came with so many “Good Ideas” including all the covers that he “did” for Squire magazine, and the whole I want my MTV campaign, among other things…but what i didnt know was about his reputation for taking credit for other peoples ideas…listen to the show and make your own judgment…also let me know if anybody wants a George Lois $ellebrity book

I met Nelson (Cekis) in 2005 when the twins came to town for their show in the Deitch, he is a close friend with them and we talk for hours about art, graff and Chile, where he is from, Im always surprise of how many talented people live in NY and so far all of them are really nice people, Nelson is one of them, his work is really amazing and true to his south american heritage, it has that vibe of the mexican muralists with some graff influence…
Im pretty sure we will hear more about him soon…

Back when i was fifteen i remember going to watch this artsy movie with my friends, i was lucky enough to be able to watch it on the big screen, to me there are few movies that growing up become part of your life, LA HAINE is one of those films…with a heavy inspiration from Spike lee Mathieu Kassovitz is been able to bring you a social comment on the france of the riots from the 90s.
