My good friend Darien Victor Birks FLWRPT is always been a music lover, I would said even more than anybody i know, last month he invited me to collaborate with him in a free mix for this new year, the idea was to make a cover for a latin mix that he carefully picked and put put together, the music selection is great as every mix from FLWRPT, a lot of brazilian, some salsa here and there…i think this is a great way to start the new year hopefully you enjoy it and please pass it around…

My friend Ton came visit from Brasil for few weeks, last night we were talking about Futbol, the NY Cosmos, design, etc.
Athleta was the first brand to dress entirely the brazilian team, the company was gone for some time but now they are back and since the world cup is around the corner, they getting their thing together, i hear they will reproduce the vintage jerseys…cant wait to get a #10.

Last Saturday was the last ride of the WNW, we decided to go to the Bronx…in general the trip was full of surprises but it was fun…here are few pics of the ride…and please check and follow my friend Angelo and Ilovebicycles.

Some of the good things I remember of growing in Venezuela was that during the 70s and 80s we where exposed to a good amount of great logos, im glad to say that some of my favorite designers are from my hometown…

Few months ago IDN magazine made some interviews with some designers & artists involved in the skate culture, I had the honor to be in one of the interviews among other friends…here some images form the magazine is been out for almost a month but you can still find it in some stores…or you can check it online.

I’ve known Geez for 7 years, we moved to NYC at the same time to work for the same company…I remember him always trying to get me into brakeless bikes and expensive frames with crazy italian names…a year ago i decided to start riding and so far is been awesome… Friday night i had the chance to ride with him for the first time…great ride from Trackstar all the way up to Harlem back to the Deitch gallery to get some free drinks for the whole crew...
This Friday we going to ride in BK please join us!

Last Sunday have the chance to ride with some friends from George Washington Bridge through the Palisades Interstate Park to a town called Piermont, NY…this is my second long trip and it was just awesome…30 something miles round trip..
it was not as heavy as Geez trip from London to Paris which i had the chance to see the premiere just few hours ago but it was definitely fun..
