Universe just put out a book with the work of Ralph Bakshi.....for those who doesnt know him...this guy did a lot of sick animated movies during the 70s like Heavy Traffic, Coonskin, American Pop, etc…

Lately I been looking a lot on the covers of my favorite bands and i found some pretty dope artists from back in the days.....Klaus Voorman is one of them....He designed the cover for REVOLVER for the Beatles and he did a lot of sick illustrations…

Izzy is one of my old school graphic designer/illustrator/music connoisseur.....He used to design most of the albums covers for the salsa label FANIA....which back in the 70s had the best catalog of artists like
Ray Barreto,Willie Colon, Hector Lavoe among others…

I couldn’t make it to the screening in NY, which i really regret…
This is the kind of documentary that makes you feel really geeky (in a good way), every interview and opinion is so interesting...the whole history of the typeface that many love and others hate, how it became the most used font in the corporate world and how the new designers is approaching it now.
Worth watching.

Stevie Wonder x Tony Bennett x Prince
Last night i was fortunate enough to go see Stevie at Madison square garden on the last show of his tour....Stevie is the man! So amazing how this guy created such good music....and just to make sure he made the right thing for the night he brought two guys to the stage that i never imagined i would see perform live.......EPIC.
