Last night i was fortunate enough to go see Stevie at Madison square garden on the last show of his tour….Stevie is the man! So amazing how this guy created such good music….and just to make sure he made the right thing for the night he brought two guys to the stage that i never imagined i would see perform live…....EPIC.

Here is some blurry pics of the show.

Holy Shit! You lucky fuck! That is no doubt the illest ever. I never got to see my hero Stevie perform I could only imagine how fresh the concert turned out. Tony and Prince on the same stage is phenom for sure. Youd be hard pressed to find a more talented group of artist on one stage these days.

kjay77 don’t take it personal when i say that your generation does not have creativity. when i was a kid we could play for eight hours with a refrigerator box. we would take two shopping carts and scrap wood and make a scooter. a used matress would become the olympics…. today’s kids never develop their creative mastery. there is no need to imagine. whatever a kid needs he can press a button and have it sent to his doorstep. and it is reflected in today’s style. there are very few interesting artist that started after 1990.

Smerk… Sorry to break it to you but graffiti is dying, it must die so it can get right. why would you want it to live in it’s present state. we have a generation of writers who insist that scratching your name into train windows is the new hotness! we have thousands of writers who walk through tunnels tagging up the walls but never touch a train! we have writers who put themselves in harms way handling caustic chemicals (etch) just to destroy windows, bringing the wraith of n.y.c. business owners down on writers that are above ground. THE VANDALISM ERA IS OVER PEOPLE! what was tolerated in the 70’s and 80’s is no longer in effect. if you do not have a fat lawyer budget, stay away from illegal graffiti. i don’t encourage it….. plus for every 10,000 throw-ups you do i can do one burna and get the same effect.

Doc has a good point. In fact although I feel the movement has become very “middle class” and at times ‘amateur art’, I still see the potential for interesting experimentation from the younger kids. We can no longer defend what they dont understand. It was a way of life, circumstantial and innocent, all things todays generation is in large part not privy to. Think Rock and Roll and to some extent Hip Hop and its bastardization and rape of cultural relevance and personal meaning.

Grafitti is art. Art always has been and always will be a important part of society. Later.

I STARTED GRAFFITI IN 1984.TO LEARN HOW TO DO GRAFFITI IN THOSE DAYS YOU HAD TO GO OUTSIDE AND FIND THE NEWEST PIECE THAT JUST WENT UP NO MATTER WHERE IT WAS AND AS A YOUNG BEGINNER YOU WOULD TAKE A POLAROID OR SIMPLY REMEMBER WHAT YOU SAW TO GIVE YOU INSPIRATION.THERE WAS NO COMPUTER THAT GAVE YOU ACCESS TO THOUSANDS OF PIECES.YOU HAD TO EARN THE TALENT TO BECOME AN ARTIST WITH YOUR OWN STYLE.BEING FROM PHILLY WRITERS TOOK MUCH PRIDE IN THERE PHILLY STLYE LETTERING.NOW I GUESS BECAUSE THE EASY ACCESS TO THE INTERNET PIECES HERE IN PHILLY ARE LOOKING LIKE GRAFFITI FROM ALL OVER THE WORLD.NOW NOT ALL OF IT BUT A GOOD PART IF IT IS. PERSONALLY I THINK ITS BEEN MADE TO EASY FOR A WRITER OF TODAY TO DEVELOPE HIS STYLE.I THINK THE INTERNET HAS HURT THE WHOLE CREATIVE PROCESS BEHIND DOING PIECES.NOW DONT GET ME WRONG I THINK THERE ARE MANY GREAT ARTIST OF TODAYAND I SEE GRAFFITI HAS BECOME A UNIVERSAL GIANT ,BUT FOR ME GRAFFITI HAS BECOME FABRICATED AND HAS LOST THE QUALITIES DOC AND MARE WAS TALKING ABOUT.I WILL ALWAYS LOVE GRAFITI BUT YOU GOTTA ADMIT GRAFFITI ART IS NOT WHAT IT USED TO BE.MB BRAZE ESPO MAC ENEM DEN SAT PRE KADISM SUROC BABY ROC THESE ARE JUST A FEW NAMES THAT HAD THIS PHILLY STYLE I AND MANY OTHER WRITERS WERE SO PROUD OF. I MAY NOT BE DOING GRAFFIT AT THE MOMENT BUT I AM STILL A FAN OF THE ART AND A FAN OF WRITERS SUCH AS OZ AGUA SPEED SEW BASE CENCE AND A FEW OTHERS I SEE HERE IN PHILLY WHO I HAVE NEVER MET .I LOVE THIS CITY THE BIRTH PLACE OF GRAFFITI.IT WILL ALWAYS PRODUCE STYLE AS LONG AS THERE ARE WRITERS LIKE THE ONES I MENTIONED.KEEP IT REAL.AND TO THE YOUNGER WRITERS I FEEL DOC IS RIGHT WHEN HE SAYS THE VANDALISM ERA IS DEAD.THERE IS TOO MUCH AGAINST YOU TODAY.ITS NOT LIKE YEARS AGO.KEEP ROCKING THOSE PIECES AND KEEP IT LEGAL.

I’m dressing up as an old man tomorrow for a halloween contest at work. I have bought everything, but I want to make the costume very original. Since I’m a middle age female, I want the wrinkles to look real. Please help! I read info here: home remedies wrinkles, anti aging creams, remove wrinkles, wrinkles eyes
