This is great because he doesn’t need any cursing or talking about selling cocain for the millionth boring time. This is a simple message he just wants to take a girl to the movies, provide pop corn and enjoy life.

I got my hands on Keo’s copy of the Part TDS book and although I have seen some of the pictures of pieces in the book there are a lot of rare gems shining in there. Ket did a great job on making this and getting it out there so congratulations to all involved especially Part the Death Squad members. I was inspired and deflated all at once looking at the work he was doing so long ago now. Hey Keo I left some bite marks on page 17 but I noticed some on page 68 that might not be mine.
For anyone in Germany I believe Part is going there for a book signing in the coming days .

Back in art in design HS in the 80s or in 84 when I got there you could see how much influence Erni and NEWAVE his crew had on writers there. Big up to Do it Dave who would come in wearing all white and to my boy Lawe who sent me this link http://ernidesigns.blogspot.com/?spref=fb

This just arrived from the printers, Sue Kwon’s photography book “Street Level” published by Testify Books documents a new york that has pretty much slipped away into the past. For those who don’t know, Sue photographed many of the best Icons in late eighties Hip Hop from Biggie to Wu Tang as well as working with Stash Futura and Supreme before there was a “Street Wear” scene before every herb and their mother had a digital camera on hand. The work in this book is mostly her personal documentation of the city neighborhoods and people in every day life shot in black and white.

My opening “Don’t Stop Get it Get it” in Paris at Colette went really well the place was packed with a lot of good energy and people showed up from all over. Teach and his Family came down from the UK The Vikings from Denmark’s V1 Gallery Mikkel and Jesper introduced me to the famous Andre my old school friend Jon156 and Frances finest Vandals were in attendance the ED Banger / Cool Cats crew rolled in like electric wizards and Sarah of Colette and her fashion army really put on a impressive event. Many Parisians were returning from Vacation so I missed a few friends like my man Michael La MJC but we managed to do a nice interview on his site with his second in command Thibault Choay and oddly enough I just missed having my boys Barry McGee and Josh come through as they landed 2 hours south in Leon to set up a exhibit down there opening soon. It looks like Karl Lagerfeld made it at some point.
More images and contact info at Colette”

Consistently funny, relentlessly appealing, and often deliriously transgressive, the work of Reas International is instantly recognizable to the cultural connoisseur.
