When I started doing my first throwies and pieces years ago I did them all at some abandoned site outside the city where for sure nobody would see them, because I knew my stuff sucks hard. Also I never went over anyone until today, except maybe with a bombing going over a few tags.. Of course I was toy and stuff but still I had respect, even without knowing anything about graff.

But a reason might be that I’m from europe.. Graff here is more like fuck the system and not about beef/hate, which appears to be around in the US much more.. You’ll rarely see someone going over someone else, unless they really take the wall to another level (like doing a bombing over tags, wildstyle over a throwie, you get it). Once you meet those guys they will still share a beer with you.
