Recently designed this 16page 11x17 newsprint “zine” for my friend and former studio mate DZINE. It is a collection of photos shot by the Chicago based photographer Andreas Larsson. It focuses on photos of DZINE’s new paintings, some work in progress photos from the studio, and photos and portraits from car and low rider bike shows that the work is inspired by.
it was made in conjunction with his show “the Beautiful Struggle” at the new Deitch gallery in Long Island City. It was made in an edition of 1000 and was given out at the opening, from what i hear all copies are already gone.
