First off, thanks to Allen for asking me to be on here. Its a pretty heavy group of people, and I’m definitely honored to be a part of it. I guess I’ll just get right into it. . . My friend Ryan and and his girl Yuko got married last weekend in Brooklyn. The wedding was at (no shit) 9am in the Botanical Gardens in Prospect Park. Definitely rough getting up for that on a Sunday morning, but it was a really intimate and laid back ceremony. The reception was later in the afternoon (so everybody could go home and go back to sleep!) on Ryan’s rooftop in Bushwick. Food, drinks, spliffs, bikes and skateboards were a plenty on the sunny, but mushy, rooftop. There was also these wierd little “lips” that curved up on various spots on the rooftop, like mini launch ramps, so I thought it would only be right to bust a little 80’s style pre-grab off one. James girlfriend, Lilly, snapped this photo of me mid-flight (a jaw-dropping 12 inches in the air!!). It turned out to be a really fun, sunshine filled day for everyone, and thats what summertime is all about.
