This is Oliver’s lovely fuckin’ Yamaguchi. I’ve seen a lot of bikes over the years, but this thing blew my mind. It truly is a one of a kind, not “limited edition”, I mean there is probably only one of these in existence. The rear seatstays are a fork-like design and the seat tube contours inward to allow for a shorter wheelbase. While there really is no design feature on this bike that other companies haven’t incorporated into their own track bikes on some level, in my opinion, very few people do it like Koichi Yamaguchi. The details are just sick, everything seems considered, and its rad to see someone doing their craft at such a high level. Interesting side note, I was watching this beauty on ebay and it just got too expensive for me. I knew someone else got it, and it turned out to be Oliver. Small world.
