Skateboard shapes have had their fair share of changes from Z-Boy zingers to 80’s noseless clunkers. Give or take a few inches or so, the oval shaped skateboard has gone virtually unchanged for well over 15 years.
Before a skateboard is cut into its modern oval shape it’s a large rectangle about 10” x 34” with gluey and splintery edges. I wanted to maintain the squareness of an uncut board but have it sized down to a friendlier 7 3/4” x 31” and have the rails be smooth and rounded. A mixture of the uncut and the new, sprinkled with some weirdo. As I rode it around town people were really weirded out by this board and so am I.
Thank you Chapman for the special make up. Chappy manufactures what I feel are the best skateboards in the world. Support USA made boards.
