BET Award 12yrs strong

Has it been 12 years already! Seriously I take it for granted that when I designed the Annual BET Award that it would become an enduring icon for the African American community of artists and athletes. Its amazing to think about how many millions see my work every year in the hands of many accomplished individuals. This year I was happy to learn that Kevin Durant was awarded one, he missed the ‘BIG’ one but its nice to see him get props by BET. He deserves it! As always when Beyonce, JayZ and Kanye hold up my work its an honor, artists like them embody the words I used to describe the design, Aspire, Ascend, Achieve- Black Star Power.
