Nice transit shots in this clip. Strong and heartfelt singer belting out what I feel deep inside. Its a sad reminder of the travesty and social disconnect between the haves and have nots. Its feeling like 1980 in NYC again and I can’t help but feel whats bubbling up in the streets will likely be harsher than London. I am seeing more and more young African American Families displaced on the streets and more men who have been feeling most of the brunt in this current economic downturn, should one ever wonder the social recourse of all this let the 60s and 80s remind you but also note that even in these times of peril we rose up and made change and reinvented the American identity. Hip Hop was born from this struggle and just as it died from its excess like a phoenix it has re-arisen to add voice, dance and art to the struggle.
